For personal data collected in connection with the use of GADA Mobility services in all other parts of the world, the data controller is GADA Mobility.
GADA Mobility operates and processes personal data globally. We may also transfer such information to countries other than the one in which our users reside or use GADA Mobility’s services. III. Information Collection and Use A. Information GADA Mobility Collects GADA Mobility collects personal data:
Provided by users to GADA Mobility, such as during account creation.
Created during use of GADA Mobility services, such as location, app usage, and device information.
From other sources, such as other users, account owners, business partners, vendors, insurance and financial solutions providers, and government authorities.
GADA Mobility and its agents collect the following personal data:
1. Information provided by users. This includes:
User profile: We collect information when users create or update their GADA Mobility account. This may include their name, email, phone number, login name and password, address, profile picture, payment or banking information (including related payment verification information), driver’s license and other government-issued identification documents (which may include document numbers, as well as birth date, gender, and photo), and vehicle or insurance information, emergency contact information, user settings, and health or fitness-related proofs for Driver Partners and Delivery Partners who use the Uber apps to provide services.
This also includes gender or occupation when required for certain GADA Mobility services or programs (such as GADA Mobility Cash or features that enable women to provide or receive services).
GADA Mobility may verify user identity through facial verification technology based on photos submitted by the user. See the “How GADA Mobility Uses Personal Data” section below for more information.
Background checks and identity verification (Driver Partners and Delivery Partners): This includes information such as a Driver Partner's history or criminal record (where permitted by law), license status, known aliases, previous addresses, and work authorization. This information may be collected by an authorized vendor on Uber’s behalf. We also verify the identity of riders and Delivery Customers who request alcohol delivery.
Demographic data: We may collect demographic information about users, including through user surveys. In some countries, we may also receive this information from third parties.
We may also infer demographic information from other data collected from users. For example, we may use a user’s first name to infer their gender when required for features that enable services to women. In such cases, GADA Mobility allows users to change their gender via in-app settings if needed.
User content: We collect information submitted by users when they contact GADA Mobility customer support, provide ratings or compliments for other users or restaurants or merchants, or otherwise contact GADA Mobility. This may include feedback, photographs, or other recordings collected from users, including audio or video recordings (e.g., dashcam) submitted by users in connection with customer support. This also includes metadata related to the method the user uses to contact GADA Mobility.
Travel Information: GADA Mobility collects trip itinerary information from users, including the time and date of reserved flights, lodging, or car rental bookings. Uber collects this information when: (i) the user manually enters the information into a GADA Mobility itinerary; or (2) the user grants Uber access to their Gmail account through a travel confirmation email. When authorized, GADA Mobility only accesses the user’s Gmail account for the purpose of collecting trip itinerary information necessary to use GADA Mobility, and complies with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the limitations on the use of information collected from the user’s Gmail account.
2. Information created during use of GADA Mobility services. This includes:
Location data (Driver Partners and Delivery Partners): We collect precise or approximate location data from Driver Partners and Delivery Partners to enable and operate transportation and delivery services, enable trip/delivery tracking and safety features, prevent and detect fraud, and satisfy legal requirements. GADA Mobility collects this information when the GADA Mobility app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen) on their mobile device.
Location data (Riders and Delivery Customers): We collect precise or approximate location data from Riders and Delivery Customers to enable and improve the use of the GADA Mobility apps, including to improve pickups, facilitate deliveries, enable safety features, and prevent and detect fraud. See the Rider Location Customer Support page for more information on how Uber uses this data.
We collect this data from users' mobile devices if they allow us to do so. (See “Choices and Transparency” for information on how Riders and Delivery Customers can enable location data collection). GADA Mobility collects this information from the time a ride or delivery is requested until it is finished (and may indicate the data collection via an icon or notification on your mobile device, depending on your device’s operating system), and whenever the app is running in the foreground on their mobile device (app open and on-screen).
Riders and Delivery Customers may use the GADA Mobility apps without enabling GADA Mobility to collect precise location data from their mobile devices. However, this may affect functionality of the GADA Mobility apps. For example, users who have not enabled location data collection must manually enter their pickup address. In addition, location data collected from a Driver Partner during a trip will be linked to the Rider’s account for purposes of receipt generation, customer support, fraud detection, insurance, and litigation, even if the Rider has not enabled device location data collection.
Transaction information: We collect transaction details related to the use of our services, including the type of services requested or provided, order details, payment transaction information (such as a restaurant’s or merchant’s name and location, and amount of the payment), delivery information, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance traveled, and payment method. Additionally, if someone uses your promotion code, we may associate your name with that person.
Usage information: We collect information about how users interact with our services. This includes information such as access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, and browser type. We may also collect information about third-party sites or services used before or after interacting with our services, and use this for marketing purposes. (See “How GADA Mobility Uses Personal Data” for more information on how we market our services to users).
In some cases, we collect this information through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tracking technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. To learn more about these technologies, please see our Cookie Notice.
Device information: We may collect information about the devices used to access our services. This includes hardware models, device IP addresses or other unique device identifiers, operating systems and versions, software, preferred languages, advertising identifiers, device motion information, and mobile network information.
Communications data: We enable users to communicate with each other and GADA Mobility through GADA Mobility’s mobile apps and websites. For example, we enable Driver Partners and Riders, and Delivery Partners and Delivery Customers, to call or text each other and send files (in most cases without disclosing their telephone numbers to each other) through the GADA Mobility app. To provide this service, GADA Mobility receives some information regarding the calls, texts, or other communications, including the date and time of the communications and the content of the communications. GADA Mobility may also use this information for customer support services (including to resolve disputes between users), for safety and security purposes, to improve our services and features, and for analytics.
Safety Recordings: Where legally permissible in certain jurisdictions, users may record audio and/or video during a trip/delivery via an in-app feature or a dashcam. In-app recordings are encrypted and stored on the user’s device, and are only shared with Uber if the user submits them to customer support in connection with a safety incident. For more information, please see here.
3. Information from other sources. This includes:
Users participating in our referral programs. For example, when a user refers another person, we receive personal data about the referred person from the user.
Uber account owners who request services for or on behalf of other users, or who allow other users to request or receive services through their account. This includes GADA Mobility account owners.
Users or other individuals providing information in connection with claims or disputes.

GADA Mobility business partners in connection with credit or debit cards issued by a financial institution in partnership with GADA Mobility (to the extent provided for in the card terms and conditions).
Vendors that help us verify users’ identity, background information, and work authorization, or who screen users in connection with sanctions, anti-money laundering, and “know your customer” requirements.
Insurance, vehicle, and financial services providers for Driver Partners and/or Delivery Partners.
Partner transportation companies (for Driver Partners or Delivery Partners who use our services through an account associated with such a company).
Publicly available sources.
Marketing service providers or data resellers whose data GADA Mobility uses for marketing or research.
Law enforcement officials, public health officials, and other government authorities.
GADA Mobility may combine the data collected from these sources with other data in its possession.
B. How GADA Mobility Uses Personal Data GADA Mobility uses personal data to provide reliable and convenient transportation, delivery, and other products and services. We also use the data to:
Enhance the safety and security of our users and services.
Provide customer support.
Perform research and development.
Enable communications between users.
Send marketing and non-marketing communications to users.
Use for legal proceedings.
GADA Mobility does not sell or share users’ personal data with third parties for their direct marketing, except with users’ consent.
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
1. Providing GADA Mobility services. We use data to provide, personalize, maintain, and improve our services.
This includes using data to:
Create/update accounts.
Enable transportation and delivery services (such as using location data for pickup or delivery), features that involve information sharing (such as split fare, estimated time of arrival sharing, ratings and compliments), and accessibility features that make it easier for users with disabilities to use GADA Mobility services.
Process payments.
Track and share the progress of rides or deliveries.
Create GADA Mobility itineraries and offer related services such as rides to airports, reserved car rentals, and food delivery.
Personalize users’ accounts. For example, we may suggest personalized restaurants or menu items based on a user’s past GADA Mobility orders. See the “Choices and Transparency” section of this Notice to learn how to opt out of this use of personal data.
Facilitate insurance, vehicle, invoicing, or financial solutions.
Perform necessary operations to maintain our services, including troubleshooting software bugs and operational problems, conducting data analysis, testing, and research, and monitoring and analyzing usage and activity trends.
GADA Mobility performs the above activities, including the collection and use of location data, where necessary to perform its obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users.
2. Safety and security. We use personal data to help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our services and users. This includes:
Screening Driver Partners and/or Riders to prevent unsafe users from using our services, where legally permitted, including by conducting background checks and verifying users’ identity and eligibility to provide transportation or delivery services.
In certain regions, this includes GADA Mobility’s real-time identity verification feature, which asks Driver Partners and Delivery Partners to share a selfie before going online to help ensure the person using the app matches the GADA Mobility account owner. Where legally permitted, this also includes performing facial recognition on photos submitted by the user or collected from a public database to prevent identity theft or verify user identity.
Using data from a Driver Partner's or Delivery Partner's device to detect unsafe driving behavior such as speeding, harsh acceleration, and harsh braking and to inform them of safer driving practices. We also use data obtained from Delivery Partners’ devices to verify the type of vehicle used for deliveries.
Using device, location, user profile, usage, and other data to prevent, detect, and combat fraud. This includes identifying fraudulent accounts or use of GADA Mobility services, preventing unauthorized Driver Partners or Delivery Partners from using the services, verifying the identity of users associated with certain payment methods, and preventing and responding to unauthorized access to users’ accounts.
Using user ratings, incident reports, and other feedback to encourage compliance with our Community Guidelines and as grounds for deactivating users with low ratings or who have otherwise violated guidelines in certain countries.
Sharing information regarding serious safety incidents of a Driver Partner or Delivery Partner or compliance with local regulations with third parties. This includes other companies that help facilitate transportation or delivery requests or provision for the user, or intermediaries that collect and report such data to multiple companies to prevent a Driver Partner or Delivery Partner who poses a safety risk to the GADA Mobility platform or to users from using GADA Mobility or other company services. We may also share with affected parties, including third parties, whether an account deactivation resulted from such an incident.
Using ratings, usage, and other data to prevent the matching of Riders and Driver Partners who have a high risk of conflict (e.g., if one user previously gave the other a 1-star rating).
GADA Mobility performs the above activities where necessary to fulfill its obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users, and/or for the legitimate safety and security interests of GADA Mobility or other parties, including users and members of the general public.
3. Customer support. We use the data we collect (which may include recordings of customer support calls) to provide customer support, including to investigate and address user concerns and to monitor and improve our customer support responses and processes.
GADA Mobility performs the above activities where necessary to fulfill its obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users.
4. Research and development. We may use personal data for testing, research, analysis, product development, and machine learning to improve the user experience. This helps us make our services more convenient and easier-to-use, enhance the safety and security of our services, and develop new services and features.
GADA Mobility performs the above activities where necessary to fulfill its obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users, for improving existing services and features, and/or for the legitimate interest of GADA Mobility in developing new services and features.
5. Enabling communications between users. For example, a Driver Partner may text or call a Rider to confirm a pickup location, or a Rider may contact a Driver Partner to retrieve a lost item. Restaurants or Delivery Partners may contact a Delivery Customer with information about their order.
GADA Mobility performs the above activities where necessary to fulfill its obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users.
6. Marketing. GADA Mobility may use personal data to market its services to users. This includes sending users communications about GADA Mobility services, features, promotions, sweepstakes, studies, surveys, news, updates, and events. We may do this through various means, including email, text message, push notifications, in-app communications and advertisements, and advertisements on third-party platforms.
We may also inform users about products and services offered by GADA Mobility partners. For example, we may provide suggestions, promotions, or ads about GADA Mobility partners based on a user’s past delivery orders. Although we may inform users about products and services offered by GADA Mobility partners, we do not sell or share users’ personal data with those partners or any third parties for their direct marketing or advertising, except with users’ consent.
We may use the data we collect, including in combination with data from our advertising partners, to personalize and improve the marketing communications (including advertising) we send on and off our apps and websites, based on a user’s location, use of GADA Mobility services, and user preferences and settings. For example, we share user data (such as a hashed email address, usage information, or device or user identifiers) with Facebook and TikTok to personalize and improve GADA Mobility service advertisements.
For information on how to opt out of certain marketing communications (including ads) from GADA Mobility and our advertising partners, please see the “Marketing Choices” section.
We may also inform users about elections, ballots, referenda, and other political and notice processes that relate to GADA Mobility services. For example, GADA Mobility has emailed some users about ballot measures or pending legislation relating to GADA Mobility services in their area.
We perform the above activities for the legitimate interest of GADA Mobility in informing users about GADA Mobility services and features or those offered by GADA Mobility partners, and/or based on user consent. For information on choices regarding GADA Mobility’s use of data for marketing purposes, please see the “Choices and Transparency” and “Marketing Choices” sections.
7. Non-marketing communications. GADA Mobility may use personal data to generate and provide users with receipts; inform them of changes to GADA Mobility terms, services, or policies; or send other communications that are not for the purpose of marketing GADA Mobility or its partners’ services or products.
We perform the above activities where necessary to fulfill our obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users, and/or for the legitimate interest of GADA Mobility in notifying users of events that may affect their use of GADA Mobility services.
8. Legal proceedings and requirements. We may use personal data to investigate or address claims or disputes relating to the use of GADA Mobility services, or as otherwise allowed or required by applicable law, regulation, operating license or agreement, legal process, or governmental request, including from law enforcement.
We perform the above activities for the legitimate interest of GADA Mobility in investigating and responding to claims and disputes relating to the use of GADA Mobility services and features, and/or where necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements.
9. Automated decision-making
We use personal data to make automated decisions regarding use of our services. This includes:
Enabling surge pricing. This pricing model determines the cost of a ride or GADA Mobility delivery based on constantly varying factors such as the estimated time and distance, the route, traffic, and the number of Riders and Driver Partners using GADA Mobility at a given moment.
Matching users requesting services with available Driver Partners and Delivery Partners. Users may be matched based on availability, proximity, and other factors like the likelihood of a trip/delivery being accepted based on past behavior or preferences. For more information about the matching process, please see here.
Determining user ratings and deactivating users with low ratings. In the European Union, or where required by law, such deactivation is only performed after a human reviewer’s review and/or is subject to an appeal process. For more information about how ratings are determined and used, please see the Rider Rating Link, Driver Partner Rating Link, or Delivery Partner Rating Link, respectively. You can also find more information in the “Rating Look-Up” section.
Flagging users who are identified as having engaged in fraud, unsafe activity, or other activities that may harm GADA Mobility and its users or other parties. In some cases, such as when a user is determined to be abusing GADA Mobility’s referral program or submitting fraudulent documentation, such behavior may result in automatic deactivation, which, in the European Union or where required by law, will occur after a human reviewer’s review.
Using Driver Partner location data and communications between Riders and Driver Partners to identify fraudulent cancellation of trips or requests. For example, if we determine, based on collected information, that a Driver Partner is delaying a Rider pickup to induce a cancellation, we will not charge the Rider a cancellation fee and will adjust the amounts paid to the Driver Partner by deducting a fee. You may contest such an adjustment by contacting GADA Mobility Customer Support.
Using Driver Partner data (e.g., location, ratings, gender) and Rider data (e.g., ratings, origination, destination) to avoid matching users who may have an increased risk of conflict.
Please click on the links in this section for more information about these processes. You may also contact Uber customer support to contest deactivation resulting from these processes.
GADA Mobility performs the above activities where necessary to fulfill its obligations to users under an agreement, such as the Terms and Conditions or other agreements with users, and/or for the legitimate interests of GADA Mobility and its users and other parties.

With GADA Mobility business partners. For example, if a user requests a service through a third-party partnership or promotion, GADA Mobility may share certain information with that third party. This may include, for example, other services or platforms, apps, and websites that integrate with our APIs; vehicle suppliers or services; parties with an API or service with which we integrate; or restaurants, merchants, or other GADA Mobility business partners in connection with promotions, contests, or specialized services, and their users.

GADA Mobility retains the accounts and information related to Driver Partners and Delivery Partners for a minimum of 7 years after a deletion request to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. For Riders and Delivery Customers, information is generally deleted within 90 days of a deletion request, except where we must retain the information for the reasons mentioned above.

Please check the settings available on your device or contact your provider.
3. In-App Ratings Pages
After every trip/delivery, Driver Partners and Riders can rate each other on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. The average of these ratings is associated with the user’s account and is displayed to other users to whom they provide or receive transportation services. For example, Rider ratings are visible to Driver Partners who receive a ride request, and Driver Partner ratings are visible to Riders.
This two-way system holds everyone accountable for their behavior. Accountability helps create a respectful and safe environment for both Riders and Driver Partners.
Riders can see their average rating in the main menu of the GADA Mobility app.
Driver Partners can see their average rating by tapping their profile picture in the GADA Mobility Driver app.
Delivery Partners receive ratings from Delivery Customers, restaurants, and merchants. Please click here for more information.
